    Choose from 15 widgets, including Key metrics, Needs attention, Job pipeline, Today’s map, Financial summary and Revenue trend, and arrange them your way. Admins can set the starting layout for each role.

    Revenue, Operations and Profitability cover the dates you choose, with estimated against actual cost on each job. WIP shows where running jobs stand today, and Company GP shows gross profit by department. Cost and margin reports show only to the owner, admin, scheduler and accounts roles.

    Admins describe a report in plain English, such as unpaid invoices over £1,000, oldest first, and AI drafts which data, columns, filters and grouping to use. Check it, change anything, then run, save or export it. Field Forge works out every figure; the AI never sees your records.

Reports & Dashboard: frequently asked questions

Can I choose what appears on my dashboard?
Yes. Customize lets each person add, remove, resize and reorder widgets from 15, and the layout follows them across devices. Owners and admins, schedulers, accounts and engineers each start with their own layout, and admins can save a layout as the company default for those roles. Most figures load when the page opens and refresh when you change the period or press Refresh.
What does the WIP report show?
A snapshot of where each running job stands today: approved value, cost to date, committed purchase orders, earned revenue and profit to date, with percent complete worked out as cost to date over expected total cost. It filters by department and flags any job whose margin has fallen by five points or more.
Does the AI report builder read my data?
No. It is sent your request and the names of the data and fields, never your records. It drafts the report definition (which data, columns, filters, sort order and grouping) for you to check and change. Field Forge then fetches the records under your own permissions and works out every total itself. The report builder is for admins and owners.
What can I export for my accountant?
Reports, Export downloads seven CSV files: Job Profitability, Work in Progress (open jobs as they stand today), Company GP by Department, Timesheets, Material Usage, Supplier Spend and Invoice Summary, all but Work in Progress for the dates you choose. Accounts, Export Invoices gives invoices and credit notes as a CSV in a generic layout or in Xero’s or QuickBooks’ import layout.
Who can see the financial figures?
Cost, margin and pay figures, the WIP and Company GP reports and the cost exports show only to the owner, admin, scheduler and accounts roles. Invoice totals are visible to any office user who opens Reports. The report builder is for admins and owners.
What dates do the reports cover?
Reports open on the financial year to date from 1 April, always covering at least the last 90 days, and you can set any From and To dates. The dashboard offers this month, the last 30 or 90 days, or this year. The WIP report shows open jobs as they stand today, whatever the dates.
