Yes. Field Forge runs on Google Cloud (Firebase) and encrypts your data in transit and at rest. All data is company-scoped, so your team only ever sees your own data. Authentication uses Firebase Auth with optional two-factor authentication and role-based access controls, and you can fine-tune create, edit, and delete permissions per person. Every change is recorded in an append-only audit trail, and deleted records can be restored from a 30-day recycle bin. See our Security & Permissions page for details.

Field Forge offers two licence tiers: Lite at £19.99 per user a month (or £199 per user a year) for engineers in the field app, and Full at £39 per user a month (or £390 per user a year) for office staff with every module. Every new account starts with a 30-day free trial, with no credit card required. Enterprise pricing is available on request. Card payments your customers make through the customer portal carry a Field Forge fee of 1% + 20p per payment, on top of Stripe’s own fees.

Yes. Reactive call-outs and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) visits are jobs with their own priority and response and fix deadlines (SLAs). Requests from the customer portal land in your Requests inbox, ready to turn into a job or a quote. Field engineers get the job details on their phone and update its status as they go.

A dashboard each person arranges, showing what needs attention, the job and quote pipelines, team workload and the money, plus reports on revenue, job profit, work in progress and gross profit by department, and CSV exports for your accountant. Admins can describe a report in plain English and get a draft to check, save and export.

Yes. You can add your company logo, accent colours, and custom terms to quote PDFs, and your logo goes on invoice and form PDFs too.

Yes. Field engineers clock in and out against specific jobs from their mobile device, with location captured at clock-in and clock-out and breaks paused and resumed. Time is valued at the engineer’s hourly cost and flows into job costing. You can review timesheets, compare estimated vs actual hours, and export timesheets as a CSV for payroll.

Yes. There are no long-term contracts. An admin can cancel at any time from the billing page, and the account stays active until the end of the period already paid for, so export your company data before then.

Yes. Field Forge supports JCT-style applications for payment as a first-class workflow. You claim by percentage complete across each scope line, and cumulative claims are validated against what was previously certified. Retention is held at the rate you set per job and released as one invoice once the job is fully certified. The domestic reverse charge and CIS are handled, and every figure is calculated deterministically.

Yes. Upload a supplier invoice as a PDF, photo, or scan and AI extracts the lines; Field Forge then three-way matches them to the purchase order and flags any cost or quantity variance before you pay. Lines not on the PO are surfaced to keep, query, or remove, and any line can be added to your parts catalogue as a new item at the billed price. AI only reads the invoice. The matching and every financial figure are worked out by the system.

Yes. A drag-and-drop form builder lets you create forms and job sheets with the fields you need, including signature fields and conditional logic, and save them as templates. Engineers complete them on any phone or tablet, attach photos, capture signatures on site, and every submission is linked to the relevant job, customer, site, contract, or asset.

Yes. Field Forge includes a branded customer portal where clients can approve or decline quotes, track job progress and status, view their invoices and payment status, and send requests for new work, which cuts the email back-and-forth and helps quotes get signed off faster.

Yes. Field Forge plots your engineers in real time on a live map, with each job pinned at its site. Suggest plan weighs skills, deadlines and distance when it suggests who should take each job, and geolocated clock-in records attendance on site. Where the company requires tracking, the route trail is kept only while the engineer is clocked in to a job.
